2-1-1 Finger Lakes Lifeline

2-1-1/LIFE LINE is here for everyone, every day, anytime. Community members are connected with experienced telecounselors by simply dialing 2-1-1 for free and confidential assistance connecting to vital services within the community. When you need help locating basic resources (like food, clothing, shelter) or need crisis stabilization for yourself or someone you know, Finger Lakes Lifeline is available to listen and to help.

Crisis Text Line

Crisis Text Line is free, 24/7 support for those in crisis. By simply texting HOME to 741741, you can connect with trained Crisis Counselors. Our first priority is helping people move from a hot moment to a cool calm, guiding you to create a plan to stay safe and healthy.
Text HOME or Text CONNECT to 741741 from anywhere in the USA, anytime, about any type of crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and lets you know that they are here to listen. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment, all from their secure online platform.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness through awareness, support and education.
NAMI offers clear, concise information on mental health topics, such as:


PSYCOM an online mental health resource providing information on a variety of mental health conditions including bipolar disorder, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and generalized anxiety disorder.
PSYCOM seeks to inspire patients and their caregivers to better understand their mental health conditions and to take an active role in their own care.

TED Talks

TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks.


Timely Care - Telehealth for FLCC Lakers

Virtual Care from Anywhere

FLCC is excited to offer TimelyCare – a new telehealth program for students. The service provides access to virtual 24/7 medical and mental health care from anywhere, and with no cost to enrolled students!

Get on-demand support from counselors, doctors, nurse practitioners, and more. Services include unlimited medical, TalkNow, psychiatry (with referral), and health coaching visits, and up to 12 counseling appointments.
