Deborah Corsner

About

Deborah Corsner serves as the Newark Campus Center Director at Finger Lakes Community College, where she oversees the center's day-to-day operations, including staff and facilities, develops the Newark course schedule, and advises new and current students. She works to connect students and communities with educational opportunities while building partnerships that support student success.

Deborah has a particular interest in strengthening collaboration between K-12 and higher education. She serves on her local school district’s Board of Education and the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Board of Education, with a focus on building stronger connections among educational institutions and expanding opportunities for students across the region.

At FLCC, Deborah co-chairs the College’s Portrait of a Graduate workgroup, helping lead efforts to understand the needs and expectations of tomorrow’s students as New York State advances the NY Inspires initiative. As a first-generation college student, she is passionate about helping students navigate educational pathways, recognize opportunities, and see the possibilities of higher education.
