Northern Spy Issue Launch Reading: Twisted Roots

Faculty and students who produce the Northern Spy literary journal will launch the latest issue with a reading called "Twisted Roots" at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at ArtSpace36.

Tree roots can be deep and gnarled. They writhe in the soil, coiling around secrets. On the brink of Halloween, we at Northern Spy seek to exhume them. This evening of literature will feature our Issue 30 authors as they read original poetry and prose. You’ll encounter work that invokes curiosity, widens paranoia, and lingers in our minds, making us lie awake, questioning our lineages. What dark, tangled roots will our authors dig up?

ArtSpace36 is the College's downtown art gallery, a space it shares with Gallery 32, operated by the Ontario County Arts Council.
