FLCC: Know Your Nine! Your Rights. Your Resources. Your Campus.
Monday, October 26, 2026
An interactive campus conversation that will include what you need to know about campus safety and student and employee rights.
Something happened... Do you know where to turn, who to contact, or what happens when a concern is reported at FLCC?
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the same month that all colleges in the U.S. must provide to the campus the Annual Security Report (Clery Report). Colleges and universities in New York State must also submit the Enough is Enough Annual Report (NYS Education Law Article 129B). The law requires that all colleges and universities establish prevention programs, policies and response procedures for incidents involving sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking. You can find FLCC information at flcc.edu/safe. The law also requires the annual submission of aggregate data on reported incidents of sexual violence and their investigation and adjudication.
Join us for an interactive FLCC campus conversation that will include what you need to know about campus safety, student and employee rights, and how it all works to help keep the FLCC community informed and supported. Representatives from FLCC Campus Police, Community Standards, Student Affairs, and Human Resources will connect the dots between Title IX, the Clery Act, NYS Education Law 129 B, and relevant FLCC policies. We want to provide you with real, usable information. To do that, we will talk through scenarios and everyday questions, so you know what to expect, who to turn to, and where to find support.
