Spring Migration Community Paddle

Explore the Honeoye Inlet by canoe and observe migratory birds returning to Muller Field Station for the summer.

Welcome back the migratory birds that wintered in the Southern Hemisphere to Muller Field Station for the summer. May is prime time for small, bright, loud songbirds to begin nesting.

Join Muller Field Station educators for a morning paddle focused on migratory warblers, flycatchers, thrushes, and more.

Participants can bring their own boats and paddling gear or join us in a canoe on the channel. No prior paddling experience is necessary. Waterproof clothing, sunscreen, and a water bottle are recommended. Binoculars are suggested and will be provided if needed. Spots are limited, so registration is required.
