Nature Illustration Talk and Showcase
Thursday, June 18, 2026
Join Muller Field Station for an artist talk and showcase featuring nature illustrator Amy Slentz.
Calling all lovers of nature and art! Have you ever wondered about the creativity and research behind nature illustration? Amy Slentz will join Muller Field Station to share her art portfolio and artistic process in this talk and showcase event.
Muller Field Station has collaborated with Amy Slentz since fall 2025 to create 4 educational panels depicting the glacial history, ecological communities, family history, and stewardship of Muller Field Station. Guests will get an in-depth view of these panels and learn about the research behind the content and the techniques used!
Amy is a friend of Muller Field Station, an FLCC environmental conservation alum, and a former field studies assistant at the station. Her blend of environmental knowledge and artistic techniques creates scientifically accurate depictions of ecosystems and their inhabitants.
This program is free, and all are welcome to attend. Space is limited, so registration is required.
