FLX AI Hub Webinar: Building Perspective with AI Personas
Tuesday, February 10, 2026
Artificial intelligence personas provide a way to understand an issue from multiple viewpoints.
Finger Lakes Community College will host a webinar at noon Tuesday, Feb. 10, on the practice of using artificial intelligence personas to explore an issue in depth.
The webinar will be held on Zoom and last 30 to 40 minutes, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Adam Heidebrink-Bruno, digital content specialist, will host the webinar titled “The Virtual Roundtable: Building Perspective with AI Personas.” He will explore a creative way to use generative AI for project planning and strategic thinking.
AI personas can give quick feedback without the time, cost or scheduling challenges of recruiting a real focus group. They also let users explore many viewpoints at once and test ideas early, before sharing them with real people.
Adam will demonstrate how a simulated focus group can provide feedback on a complex topic. Participants will learn how to create personas that represent stakeholder positions relevant to a project. They will also learn how to identify bias and blind spots to promote more inclusive decision-making.
Webinars will be recorded and shared on the college’s YouTube channel and the Finger Lakes TV network at fingerlakestv.org.
The next webinar in the series, on March 10, is “NotebookLM: Summarize, Analyze, and Create in Seconds” with presenter Dave Ghidiu, associate professor of computer science.
The webinar series is a program of the FLX AI Hub at FLCC, launched in June 2025 to make AI accessible for education, workforce training, and local businesses. Other programs include AI for Educators, a series of short courses available by subscription, and in-person community events on March 19 and June 10.
