Code & Play: Game Development Jam
Tuesday, October 21, 2025
Join an open, collaborative environment where the goal is simple: design and build a small, playable game by the end of the session.
Ever wanted to make your own game but didn't know where to start, or wanted to team up with others who love coding? This four-hour social programming event is for you!
Students of all experience levels are invited to join us in an open, collaborative environment where the goal is simple: design and build a small, playable game by the end of the session. At 1:30 p.m., we will host a casual expo showcase where participants can demonstrate their creations.
Participants will be free to use Python, Java or Unity, depending on their interest and experience. Beginners can get hands-on practice with simple mechanics, while more advanced programmers can push themselves with extra features and polish.
What to expect:
· A quick kickoff with brainstorming and team forming (solo projects welcome too).
· Four hours of coding, designing, and playtesting.
· Peer learning and networking with fellow students.
· A game expo at 1:30 PM where everyone can share what they built.

No prior experience required—just curiosity and enthusiasm. Come to learn, code, and have fun!
