FLCC's Visual and Performing Arts Department presents three performances "The Diary of Anne Frank" in the main campus auditorium Nov. 20-22.
Wendy Kesselman's 2001 stage adaptation of book "The Diary of Anne Frank," this acclaimed reimagining brings Anne’s voice to life with raw honesty and lyrical brilliance, illuminating the inner world of a gifted young girl whose words continue to resonate across generations. Set in the suffocating confines of a hidden annex, the play captures the emotional landscape of eight souls struggling to survive under Nazi persecution—balancing fear and grief with moments of laughter, love, and resilience.
Kesselman’s adaptation weaves in newly discovered diary entries and survivor accounts, offering a deeper, more intimate portrayal of Anne’s experience and the horrors of the Holocaust.
