Summer Camping Programs: Give the gift of time to one of our camping programs. Volunteer to work as a camp counselor, kitchen staff, security, or assistant in one of our specialty areas (e.g. arts & crafts, woodworking, etc.) at our recreational facility on Keuka Lake. Year-round Programs and Events: All of the programs & services provided by Camp Good Days are offered free of charge for the participants, which is only possible through the generosity of so many individuals & organizations & the success of our many special fundraising events! Ganondagan welcomes volunteers for many events throughout the year. Volunteer needs include children's activities, hospitality, recycling, and more. Our biggest need is the Indigenous Dance & Music Festival, held the fourth weekend in July. Other needs include Living History in September, a Husking Bee in October (picking, husking, and braiding corn), Canandaigua Treaty Day in November, the Native American Winter Arts Festival in December, and the Native American Winter Games in February. Seeking volunteers for a variety of opportunities. Year-round troop leaders for all age levels, ranging from Kindergarten-12th grade, needed as well as volunteers who have more limited availability. Only have a few hours?? We have opportunities for volunteers to facilitate 4-6 session series programs on topics such as healthy living, financial literacy, and building life skills such as decision making and leadership. Only available to help 1 day? We need volunteers who can offer time for day events. Want to volunteer during summer break? We need help with summer programs too. Opportunities in communities across 24 counties in NY - for both local students as well as those who may travel back to “home” during the summer. Girls on the Run of Greater Rochester

We are looking for a volunteer coach for our spring team at the Innovation Square YMCA . The practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-6:30pm starting March 18, 2025. You will: Serve as a role model for program participants in 3rd-5th grades; Prepare, organize, supervise 2x/weekly lessons for the 10 week season; Each practice is 1.5 hrs long; Collaborate with other coaches for successful lesson delivery; Facilitate communication with parents/guardians; Participate and help coordinate your site based Girls on the Run 5k. Qualifications include a desire to work with children and an interest in health - physical, emotional, and mental! Also need volunteers for our Spring 5K on May 30th, 6-8pm at MCC!
