The Museum of Science and Technology (The MOST)
Volunteers have the opportunity to engage visitors in exciting STEM activities with visitors and school groups, assist with special STEM programs and fundraising events, conduct behind-the-scenes research, and more. The Partnership for Ontario County - EPIC Zone Youth Clubhouse
EPIC Zone Youth Clubhouse, a program that operates through The Partnership of Ontario County, operates as a drop-in center serving youth, ages 12-17. There are two sites, one in Geneva and one in Bloomfield. We are open Monday - Friday from 3-7pm at 21 Worthington Avenue in Geneva and are open 2:30 - 7 p.m. Monday- Friday at 4 East Main Street in Bloomfield. Volunteers with EPIC Zone can support us in the following ways: General engagement with the members during activities or down time, bringing a personal interest into the clubhouse for members to engage in or learn about, support with homework, or program activity planning. U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary supports the active Coast Guard in many phases of operation. Auxiliarists often train side-by-side with active members, learn same materials, & patrol same waters in addition to many inland locations. The primary mission of the Auxiliary is Recreational Boating Safety. Members can teach classes, visit boat dealers, inspect boats, or become boat crews & patrol on Lake Ontario, Seneca Lake & the canal system. Membership in the Auxiliary will assist in the process of applying for the Coast Guard Academy. Everyone can volunteer for the Auxiliary, & we have jobs to do for everyone! Local Flotilla 4-7 meets on the 1st Monday of every month February-November. (Updated 7/2021)

Wood Library
This is a one-time/short-term volunteer opportunity. We are looking for volunteers to support our Wood Library Mini Golf fundraiser, a popular event that attracts hundreds of community members to play 18 holes of mini golf in the Canandaigua library. The event takes place March 28-29, 2025. We need volunteers to help us set up and take down the course (physical work), greet patrons, and make sure the course runs smoothly.
