The Arc Wayne
Volunteering at The Arc Wayne allows you to create meaningful relationships with individuals with and without disabilities as you help them learn valuable skills, create more opportunities for them to thrive, or use your time and talents to help foster growth at the agency. The Arc Wayne's volunteers improve our community through a variety of programs, services and events that highlight what each volunteer excels in. The Partnership for Ontario County - EPIC Zone Youth Clubhouse
EPIC Zone Youth Clubhouse, a program that operates through The Partnership of Ontario County, operates as a drop-in center serving youth, ages 12-17. There are two sites, one in Geneva and one in Bloomfield. We are open Monday - Friday from 3-7pm at 21 Worthington Avenue in Geneva and are open 2:30 - 7 p.m. Monday- Friday at 4 East Main Street in Bloomfield. Volunteers with EPIC Zone can support us in the following ways: General engagement with the members during activities or down time, bringing a personal interest into the clubhouse for members to engage in or learn about, support with homework, or program activity planning. Availability for a one-time opportunity, or recurring opportunities are both welcome. (Updated 3/2024)

Wayne County Historian Office
The Wayne County Historian Office assists many researchers conducting all types of research, particularly genealogy. It is important that the volunteer has an interest in history and enjoys reading. Includes filing and indexing historic materials; and database entry. Computer skills are welcomed. (Updated 2/2024)
Wayne County Historical Society
The Wayne County Historical Society operates The Museum of Wayne County History located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons, NY, in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region, just a short walk up from Erie Canal Lock #27. As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, our 400+ members and business sponsors support our mission to preserve and present the history of Wayne County and the surrounding area. Volunteer work needed at the museum includes baking/special events, docent/school tours, filing, fundraising events, lawn mowing - pure oil station, painting, scanning photos, social media, and odd jobs around the museum.
