Rochester Folk Art Guild
We are an arts non-profit, intentional community and craft center located in Middlesex, NY. We offer public programming in areas of arts and culture, have multiple active craft studios, and have a residential population and a retreat center. Our community members range from toddlers to their 70's and we have need in many service areas. We are looking for volunteers for general support in areas like our farm and orchard; helping with maintenance projects; supporting events with things like set up, check in, and directing folks around our campus; administrative management of various projects and more.
Sands Family YMCA
The generosity of others is at the core of our existence. It is through the support of our volunteers that we are able to give back to the communities we serve. Become a Program Volunteer: Assist with programs based on an 8-week session or a league schedule. Examples of opportunities might be assisting with a soccer class or reading to preschool students. Volunteers at the Smith Opera House help with front-of-house duties for live concerts, films, and community events. These duties include ushering, selling/serving concessions and the bar, ticket scanning, and the box office. Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion - State Historic Park
Volunteering at Sonnenberg Gardens provides the opportunity to experience the State Historic Park’s Mansion and 50-acre estate in a new way. Whether your interests lie in leading tours, working at a special event, assisting with maintaining the gardens and buildings, or working in the Finger Lakes Wine Center tasting room, Sonnenberg Gardens has volunteer opportunities available to fulfill a variety of passions.
