Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is a state-funded initiative that provides support services to students who despite being economically and academically disadvantaged, demonstrate the potential to successfully complete college.

- Educational and career planning
- Financial advisement
- Limited financial assistance
- Pre-freshman summer extended orientation program
A first-time college student must meet academic and financial guidelines to be considered for EOP admission. First-time applicants must complete and return an application and financial eligibility form.
Applicants entering FLCC who previously attended another institution are eligible for EOP only if they are residents of New York State and have been enrolled in a similar post-secondary opportunity program such as EOP, HEOP, SEEK, or College Discovery.
Verification of previous status is required. To request EOP verification from a previous college, print and return the EOP Transfer Applicant Information Sheet
Currently Attending Students and Students Re-entering FLCC
Students are eligible for EOP only if they were previously admitted to FLCC as EOP students. Returning students may print and return the EOP Returning Student Information Sheet to the EOP office to be considered for reactivation.
EOP Summer Success Academy
The EOP Summer Success Academy is offering an exciting and FREE program this summer from July 16 through August 4 to help get you prepared for your first year of college! You'll also get to enjoy living at the Suites at Laker Landing!
You will experience an academic readiness course, as well as a theme-based course exposing you to Math and English concepts, a dinner series with guest speakers, and workshops designed to help you transition to college. Placement testing and registration will also be offered during the program as well as some fun outings! The summer program is a great way to connect with the EOP staff and meet other incoming students before you attend FLCC this fall.
