General Tutoring

At FLCC, you'll be able to count on our professional and trained peer tutors for all your tutoring needs. Drop-in tutoring services are available to all FLCC students, and study skills appointments are provided to assist you with time management, testing tactics, note taking, and much more.


Our tutoring services are accessible for many subject areas and can be utilized as often as necessary. No appointment is required.

Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is offered for many subjects through STAR-NY and Smarthinking.


Spring 2018 online tutoring services will be available through STAR-NY Sunday–Thursday from 7pm–midnight beginning Tuesday, January 30 through Thursday, May 10.


Online tutoring is open to all students daily through Smarthinking in Blackboard.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)

Whatever academic path you choose to pursue with your education, you may encounter a challenging course or two along the way. Supplemental Instruction provides academic support and the opportunity to engage in free weekly out-of-class review sessions for classes that can be demanding.
