FLCC's math placement test measures your ability to perform basic algebraic operations and solving problems that involve college-level math concepts
The Test
Next-Generation Algebra
The Advanced Algebra and Functions test is comprised of 20 questions and measures your ability to solve problems that involve college-level math concepts such as:
- Linear equations and applications
- Factoring
- Quadratics
- Functions
- Radical and rational equations
- Polynomial equations
- Exponential and logarithmic equations
- Geometry concepts
- Trigonometry
Preparing for the Test
Study for your placement test using the free ACCUPLACER Practice App. This app includes practice questions and explanations for correct and incorrect answers. To access the app, visit accuplacerpractice.collegeboard.org, create your account, and select "Next-Generation Practice Tests." Click on the test you want to practice and select "Learn as you Go" to receive immediate feedback on each question, or select "Sample Test" for a sample test. For the Math placement test, you should practice the Advanced Algebra and Functions test. For your convenience, you can save and return to a practice test at any time.
