DESCRIPTION:Muller Field Station is kicking off the Fall 2026 Talk on the Wild Side series with an exciting and Halloween-themed topic! Guests will learn about the defining characteristics of bats, bat-related research projects, and their role as a core pollinator in various ecosystems. Our guest, Shannon Dermody, is a FLCC Technical Specialist II in the FLCC Environmental Conservation department and a Friend of Muller Field Station. Prior to her current position, Shannon worked on various bat-related research projects across the East Coast for multiple institutions. Even though she no longer studies them directly, she loves giving public talks about this fascinating group of animals. All ages and interests are welcome for this exciting talk before Halloween! Registration is required, as only a limited number of spots are available. REGISTER HERE
