Not quite ready to start a degree, just interested in a particular subject? Finger Lakes welcomes students interested in taking a class for personal enrichment, to decide if they are ready for college work, or to brush up on skills for the workplace, or to get ahead start on your college career. Come join us and explore!
Take a class for credit!
Interested in taking a credit class, you may register as a non-matriculated student. No need to apply to the college! Just check our course offerings, verify that you meet the appropriate prerequisites, and simply fill out the college's registration form. Details are available on the Register for Classes page. Courses can meet degree requirements, general education requirements or home college requirements.
Take a credit free audit class!
Taking a courses credit free costs 1/3 the cost of the credit course. You attend and participate without the worry of passing exams and homework. Need to brush up on skills or want to try a class without the stress of exams? Want to sharpen your excel knowledge, interested in polishing your writing, need a better foundation in statistics but don't need the credit? Sign up for a credit free audit class. You will participate in a credit class as a credit free student. Finger Lakes offers a variety of fun and stimulating noncredit courses for your personal enrichment. From outdoor class like canoing, hiking. and birding to indoor options like Chess, cartooning, aviation and security for your home PC; FLCC has something for you! Check out the options.
