The President, Dr. Barbara Risser (risserbg@flcc.edu), is the chief executive officer of the College and is responsible for providing leadership for all College operations as well as for the institution’s growth, development, effectiveness and response to community needs. Dr. Risser, who became the College’s fourth president in August 2007, assumes an active role in the development and implementation of effective strategic and long-range planning efforts to address present and future institutional and community-wide needs. She also provides leadership in economic and community development in the College’s service area.
Reporting to the College’s Board of Trustees, the President oversees the administrative personnel who provide direction for the following divisions: Academic Affairs; Administrative Services; Student Services and Enrollment Management; Human Resources; and Planning and Facilities Management.
