Math Placement Tests

FLCC's math placement tests measure your ability to perform basic algebraic operations. The College offers an additional college-level math skills test, which measures your ability to solve problems that involve college-level math concepts.

The Tests

Elementary Algebra

The elementary algebra test, comprised of 12 questions, measures your ability to perform basic algebraic operations and to solve problems involving elementary algebraic concepts.

College Level Math

The college-level math test, comprised of 20 questions, measures your ability to solve problems that involve college-level math concepts.

Preparing for the Tests

Study for your placement test using the free ACCUPLACER study app. This app includes practice questions and explanations for correct and incorrect answers. To access it, go to accuplacerpractice.collegeboard.org, create your account, and select "Classic Practice Tests." FLCC's tests include reading comprehension, sentence skills, elementary algebra, and college-level math. Click on the test you want to practice and select "Learn as you Go." For your convenience, you can save and return to a practice test at any time.
