Environmental Conservation and Horticulture

FLCC offers two-year degree programs and one-year certificate programs in the environmental conservation, horticulture and viticulture and enology fields. Upon completing a degree program, students have the option of entering the job market or transferring to a four-year college or university.

Extensive field experiences in the Finger Lakes Region, the Adirondack Mountains, the Florida Everglades, and various national parks are offered as part of all degree programs. Other unique features include a conservation field camp emphasizing wildlife, fish and land management; a 250-acre campus with a nature trail where outdoor classes are held; a College arboretum; a greenhouse; three large boats for fisheries and limnology field work on the Finger Lakes; the Muller Field Station at the south end of Honeoye Lake, which includes a fish culture center; and the East Hill Campus in Naples.
