REQUIREMENTS FOR GED
The specific coursework that must be completed by participants in the 24 credit hour program are:
- 6 credits English language arts (ENG 101 and ENG 102)
- 3 credits Math
- 3 credits Natural Science
- 3 credits Social Science
- 3 credits Humanities
- 6 credits required for college degree program
Once these credits are successfully completed, participants are eligible to apply to the NYS Education Department for a GED.
