Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
The Office of Alumni Relations and the FLCC Alumni Association are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to serve on committees and assist with the various activities sponsored by the Alumni Association. Alumni Association Committees
The Standing Committees of the Alumni Association as listed below are established to carry out the activities of the Association, and are chaired by members of the Executive Council. Additional committees may be established by the President as deemed necessary. Existing committees may be modified by the Chair and/or President to meet the changing needs of the Association.
Membership Committee
Responsible for maintaining an active membership of the Association, including soliciting new volunteers and coordinating communication.
Scholarship and Awards Committee
Responsible for selecting recipients for all Association scholarships and other awards. Reviews current scholarship criteria as well as explores new opportunities for scholarships.
Special Activities Committee
Responsible for all special programs and events sponsored by the Association, including educational programs and social or cultural events, and for the Association's participation in Finger Lakes Community College and community activities. Also responsible for assisting the College in any areas not covered by other committees.
Standing Rules Committee
Responsible for reviewing the Association by-laws and Standing Rules and for suggesting revisions as needed to meet the changing needs of the Association.
