Spend half a day at the Muller Field Station: watch while they check the trap, net and bring the fish to shore; visit the fish culture area and learn how fish go from eggs to fry; check out the ponds built in cooperation with NYSDEC. Alumni being honored include the recipients of the FLCC Conservation and Horticulture Alumni Achievement Awards, the John L. Pietropaolo Chemical Dependency Counseling Alumni Award, an inductee into the FLCC Athletic Hall of Fame, and two graduates being honored with the 2005 Distinguished Alumni Award.

8th Annual Alumni Cross-Country Invitational

The 8th Annual Alumni Cross-Country Invitational is planned for Saturday, September 2, 2006, and is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Bruce Bridgman Cross-Country Course at FLCC. FLCC Foundation’s 2006 Visiting Scholar’s Series Featuring Dr. Robert Ballard
Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 6 p.m.
2006 Visiting Scholar, Dr. Robert Ballard, best known for his 1985 discovery of The Titanic, has also succeeded in tracking down numerous other significant shipwrecks including the German battleship Bismarck, the lost fleet of Guadalcanal, the U.S. aircraft carrier Yorktown and John F. Kennedy’s PT-109. Look for additional information during the next several months.

FLCC Woodsmen's Team Invitational
Sunday, October 8, 2006
FLCC Woodsmen's Team will host an invitational at Cumming Nature Center in South Bristol. Typically, alumni of the team return to assist Coach Marty Dodge as timers and judges for the daylong event. Look for a sign-up in the mail in early fall.
