TUITION, FEES & CERTIFICATES OF RESIDENCE
Tuition
After students have registered for classes, they have incurred a tuition liability. View the tuition and fee schedule to see current tuition costs. Whether they will be billed or they will have to pay at the time of registration is dictated by WHEN they register. When students arrive for registration, they are provided with a checklist that indicates how their tuition liability is to be handled (that it, whether the student will receive a bill, should stop at the Bursar to pick up their bill, or must pay when they register).
Students may pay tuition by using:
- Cash
- Check,
- Discover, Mastercard, or VISA
- Payment Plan (tuition is paid in 4 equal installments)
Financial aid may be used as a credit toward tuition costs if the student has completed the financial aid process and has a financial aid award letter OR has a hardship deferral from the Financial Aid Office.
Additional Fees
Certain courses require the payment of an additional fee. These can be found at www.flcc.edu/costs
Certificate of Residence
In order to receive the lower tuition rate for NY state residents, the state requires that students submit a Certificate of Residence from their home county which shows they have lived in New York for a period of at least one year.
