Finger Lakes Community College Building Project

Project Summary

The $62 million project includes:

  • a new student services building on the main campus (enrollment offices, student life, cafeteria, bookstore, auditorium, etc.)
  • renovations to vacated space in the main classroom building to support general purpose classrooms and laboratories and provide room for program growth (the space to be renovated is approximately the same size as our entire campus center in Wayne County)
  • adjustments to the campus ring road to address safety concerns
  • the new Geneva Campus Center
  • startup costs for the Victor Campus Center (which will be in rented space)

Capital construction and renovation projects at community colleges are funded equally by the State of New York and a local share

Proposed funds for our $62 million project:

  • State of New York - $31 million
  • Local share:
    • FLCC Foundation private fund-raising - $3 million
    • FLCC Association - $4 million
    • Sponsor Contribution - $24 million
