Make a Gift

There are many ways to support Finger Lakes Community College. However you choose to support the college, your generosity ensures that the FLCC Foundation is the Right Place to Give!

Your gift can make the difference in a promising student’s ability to achieve academic success, support innovative faculty development; acquire new technology; or launch a new community program.

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts are deductible for income tax purposes to the full extent of the law. Donations may be made by cash, check, or credit card (VISA or MasterCard). If you are a Finger Lakes Community College or SUNY employee, you may make a contribution via payroll deduction, please contact your human resources department for information.  Credit card gifts may be monthly, quarterly, or annual payments. Pledge payments may also be arranged.

  • Donations can be made online using the e-Cashier Automatic Payment Program.
  • To make a donation by mail, please use the donor pledge form when making your donation and mail to FLCC Foundation, 4355 Lakeshore Dr., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Checks may be made payable to the FLCC Foundation.

Appreciated Securities

Consider making a gift of qualified assets, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other appreciated long-term properties that have been held for at least one year and one day rather than cash. By doing so, donors avoid paying capital gains on the increased value of the property while receiving a tax deduction for the average value of the property on the date of transfer. For more information, call you broker and the Foundation at (585) 394-3500, ext. 7541.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Before you make a gift, consult your company’s personnel office for further information about matching gift programs. As a benefit to employees, many businesses and corporations match their employees’ charitable gifts to the organizations such as the College.

For in-depth information on any aspect of giving, please contact our office at (585) 394-3500, x 7541 or email foundation@flcc.edu.
