Students…

  • Monday, April 13: Graduation announcements can be purchased at the Campus Book Store
  • Monday, April 27: Graduates may pick-up their graduation attire (cap, gown, and tassel) at the Campus Book Store. They have been paid for by your student fees. Bring your FLCC ID. If you have a hold on your account due to unpaid bills, overdue library books, parking fines, etc., you will need to settle these accounts prior to picking up your cap, gown, and tassel.
  • Graduation Day - Saturday, May 16:
    • Graduates should report to the Gym no later that 1:00 p.m. on May 16 to line-up and receive instructions.
    • Please dress appropriately for the occasion and the weather. You may NOT carry any personal belongings (purses, sweaters, etc.) in the Commencement line. There will be a secure area in the Gym for you to check your personal belongings.
    • Remember to pick up your graduation gift at the Student Life Office after the ceremony.
  • Phi Theta Kappa members can sign up to purchase Phi Theta Kappa graduation regalia on the Phi Theta Kappa bulletin board on the third floor across from B-321.
  • If you or your family/guests require special accommodations for seating, sign language interpretation, etc., please contact Norah Nolan-Cramer, Coordinator for Services for Students with Disabilities at (585)394-3500, ext. 7441 or at nolann@flcc.edu as soon as possible.
  • A photographer from GradTrak® Graduation Images will be at our ceremony to take a candid photograph of you at your special moment of recognition.  You will receive a free passport-sized digital proof of this photo on an order card within 5-7 days following the ceremony.  After the ceremony you may order online at www.gradimages.com or call 800-424-3686. Pre-register with GradTrak® Graduation Images to receive an email as soon as your photos are available for online viewing and ordering.
  • Project Graduation: Help solve problems of hunger and illiteracy locally. Feed needy families and enrich children’s minds. Bring ONE can of food or ONE new children’s book to campus between May 1 and May 16. Collection areas will be at the Office of Student Life and the Phi Theta Kappa Office (B-321). This service project is sponsored by the Alpha Epsilon Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa.
  • Diplomas will be mailed in June for those students completing their degree requirements in May 2009.
  • The Nursing Advancement Ceremony will be held on May 16 at 10:00 a.m. in CMAC.

Guests…

  • Tickets are not required for commencement. Reserved seating for graduates, faculty and special guests will be roped off; all other seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • The Campus Book Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and immediately following the ceremony. Graduation merchandise, single stem roses and a selection of beverages will be available for purchase at two locations adjacent to CMAC.
  • The Class of 2009 and their guests are invited to join the College community immediately following the ceremony for a reception honoring the graduates.
