NURSE ASSISTANT

Prepare to become a certified Nurse Assistant by completing this FLCC course and passing the New York State certification exam. Our non-credit program includes classroom training in the principles and practices of patient care, and clinical experience in a long term care setting. Applicants should be tactful, patient, dependable, understanding, and have a desire to help people. You work as part of a team so good communication skills are vital. Since Nurse Assistants must be in good health, a physical exam including a State-regulated test such as those for tuberculosis and hepatitis, is required.
